The Advocate’s Medical Kit: Advocating for Children with Medical Issues
APRIL 13, 2012
Cheryl and Warna will present this workshop for SPaN (www.spanmass.org). They will discuss advocating for children and youth with various medical issues. Attendees will learn:
• How to effectively advocate for students with acute and chronic medical conditions;
• How to set up protections for the child in the educational environment;
• How to develop an effective Health Care Plan;
• The role of medical personnel and parents in the development of the HCP.
